I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of York University. Before, I was a J. L. Doob Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Texas A&M University. I obtained my PhD in mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens.
My field of study is functional analysis. Some of my research interests are operators on Banach spaces, algebras of operators, local and asymptotic structure of Banach spaces, hereditarily indecomposable Banach spaces, \mathscr{L}_\infty-spaces, metrical characterization of non-local properties of Banach spaces.
